Certification Overview
Each DevNet Professional certification requires
two exams:
- Core Exam – Covers foundational software development and automation technologies.
- Concentration Exam – Allows candidates to specialize in a specific DevNet technology area.
Note: Passing the core exam also qualifies you for the corresponding CCIE DevNet lab exam.

- 350-901 DEVCOR – Developing Applications Using Cisco Core Platforms and APIs

🔹 Concentration Exam (Choose One)
You must choose
one of the following DevNet-focused concentration exams:
- 300-435 ENAUTO – Automating and Programming Cisco Enterprise Solutions
- 300-535 SPAUTO – Automating and Programming Cisco Service Provider Solutions
- 300-635 DCAUTO – Automating and Programming Cisco Data Center Solutions
- 300-735 SAUTO – Automating and Programming Cisco Security Solutions
- 300-910 DEVOPS – Implementing DevOps Solutions and Practices Using Cisco Platforms
- 300-915 DEVIOT – Developing Solutions Using Cisco IoT and Edge Platforms

Validity & Recertification
Validity Period: 3 Years
Renewal Options
You can recertify by completing any one of the following:
- Pass one professional-level core exam
- Pass any two professional-level concentration exams
- Pass one expert-level lab exam
- Earn continuing education credits
Recommended Experience
There are
no formal prerequisites for DevNet Professional.
However, Cisco recommends:
- 3–5 years of experience in software development and network automation
- Strong knowledge of Python, APIs, and DevOps practices
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
