Certification Overview

To earn the Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert certification, candidates must satisfy two requirements:

2️⃣ Hold one of the following prerequisite associate certifications.

📌 Important

Unlike many Microsoft certifications, the Cybersecurity Architect Expert certification allows multiple prerequisite options. Candidates must hold at least one qualifying associate-level certification before the expert certification is awarded.

You can take the SC-100 exam without the prerequisite certification, but Microsoft will not grant the expert certification until a prerequisite certification is also active.
