Certification Overview

Each DevNet Professional certification requires two exams:
  1. Core Exam – Covers foundational software development and automation technologies.
  2. Concentration Exam – Allows candidates to specialize in a specific DevNet technology area.
Note: Passing the core exam also qualifies you for the corresponding CCIE DevNet lab exam.

  • 300-535 SPAUTO – Automating and Programming Cisco Service Provider Solutions
  • 300-635 DCAUTO – Automating and Programming Cisco Data Center Solutions
  • 300-735 SAUTO – Automating and Programming Cisco Security Solutions
  • 300-910 DEVOPS – Implementing DevOps Solutions and Practices Using Cisco Platforms
  • 300-915 DEVIOT – Developing Solutions Using Cisco IoT and Edge Platforms

Validity & Recertification

Validity Period: 3 Years

Renewal Options

You can recertify by completing any one of the following:
  • Pass one professional-level core exam
  • Pass any two professional-level concentration exams
  • Pass one expert-level lab exam
  • Earn continuing education credits

Recommended Experience

There are no formal prerequisites for DevNet Professional. However, Cisco recommends:
  • 3–5 years of experience in software development and network automation
  • Strong knowledge of Python, APIs, and DevOps practices
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals
